2 Star road ride – gentle pace, with some climbs. Suitable for regular riders who prefer a more relaxed pace.

  • Average speed: 10–12 mph
  • Distance: 38 miles
  • Start time: 10.00 am (nb earlier start than normal)
  • Start location: Wallingford Market Place
  • Ride time: Approx 5.5 hours including a lunch stop
  • Ride leader: Patrick Hardiman

Route: A day ride into the Chilterns, with some climbs and two long descents. We’ll visit Checkendon, Stoke Row, Nuffield, and Cookley Green. Then to Stonor for lunch, followed by Christmas Common, and back to Wallingford via Ewelme.
